The Heartwood Collective
Over the years we have slowly connected with what is now an incredible team of qualified practitioners, friends and community partners who have all come together to form The Heartwood Collective.
They range from the youngest of children to the wisest of elders, and everything in between, hailing from all over Croydon, with a raft of experience, knowledge and skills They are committed to this vision, and are already bringing their considerable skills and energy into making this real.
Imagine 3 circles.
One for Facilitators using Heartwood as a container to deliver therapies, offer wellbeing activities like yoga and fitness, forest school, nature connection and nature based arts activity, and curating beautiful events for all.

One for Beneficiaries - individuals, families and groups in the community who visit Heartwood to benefit from the work that happens here.

One for the Friends - people who support Heartwood through their volunteering, energy, time and love. Builders, maintainers and guardians of the site and its associated administrative processes.
These three circles fit together as a Venn diagram, and converge on a central space which is Community. People will be in more than one circle at a time, often all three, simultaneously offering to and taking from Heartwood as and when needed.
